Preschool Registration Information for 2025-2026
Will your child be 5 on October 1, 2025?
If yes,
- Congratulations! Your child will be in kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year. Your child is not eligible for pre-kindergarten (universal preschool).
- If your child is currently attending a CCSD preschool, then you are already registered for kindergarten at your home school. Please wait for more information coming soon regarding kindergarten from your child's home school and check their website frequently. Please note, your child can attend their home school, which may or may not be the school where they are attending preschool.
- If your child is not currently attending a CCSD preschool, please visit Cherry Creek School District Admissions.
- If your child is currently attending a CCSD preschool, then you are already registered for kindergarten at your home school. Will your child be 4 on October 1, 2025?
If yes,
- Congratulations! Your child can be registered the pre-kindergarten (Universal Preschool) for the 2025-2026 School Year.
- The Cherry Creek School District will offer free, half-day pre-kindergarten at all elementary schools in the Cherry Creek School District starting in the 2025-2026 school year.
- Preschool will be offered part-time in a morning session 7:45 am-11:00 am. 7:45 am-8:00 am is a soft start with staggered drop off or afternoon session (11:50am-3:00pm). 2:45 pm-3:00 pm is a soft closing with staggered pick up format.
- Morning and afternoon assignments will be determined by the school's principal.
- Transportation will not be provided for students.
- The Cherry Creek School District will offer free, half-day pre-kindergarten at all elementary schools in the Cherry Creek School District starting in the 2025-2026 school year.

Please check your address in the Map Based School Locator and do not register your child if you do not live within the CCSD boundaries. Proof of address is required for all registrations.
- Step 1: Check the box for the school level. (Elementary for Pre-Kindergarten)
- Step 2: Click the magnifying glass in the RED box located on the top left that says Cherry Creek School District.
- Step 3: Enter your home address and click on the full address that is displayed.
- Step 4: Zoom out on the map to see the address within the boundary of the assigned neighborhood school (Elem).
Who should contact Child Find?
You should contact Child Find if you have a child whose birthday makes them eligible for preschool (3 years old on the day they will start school) AND you have concerns or questions about their development. This service is free for families.

What happens at Child Find?
- Cherry Creek School District’s (CCSD) Child Find teams are recognized by the state of Colorado for their expert use of Play-Based assessment techniques. Your child will experience the assessment process as a play session.
- Child Find screens children’s skills and if there is a suspected delay that may impact the child’s ability to learn at preschool, Child Find evaluators will offer to do a formal Special Education evaluation. If the formal Special Education evaluation indicates that your child does need support in preschool, Child Find will write an Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
Does your preschool or pre-kindergarten student need a health appraisal appointment?
